Our latest project for Malco Flooring Pty Ltd is a HTML single page brochure site with a small amount of jQuery to provide page animation and interest.
Client Brief:
John from Malco Flooring wanted to provide a clean uncomplicated website without too many distractions or unnecessary bloat. With many large and professionally photographed images available for the gallery, we decided to make the photos the centrepiece for the website by creating a scrolling gallery on a single page.
To make navigation simple we provide only two menu items in the main menu and a continue button for each “slide”. Each information panel can be hidden from view with a simple click/tap to allow the viewing of the gallery photograph in the background.
Mobile users have a simplified view from their iPhone or any other smartphone to reduce page download size and provide only the information required.
It was a pleasure to work on a unique idea and produce an interesting, minimalist design with only the necessary information included.
